PHILADELPHIA - Temple redshirt senior QB Adam DiMichele (McKees Rocks, Pa.) has been named the OwlSports.com Athlete of the Month for November.

Last month, DiMichele led the Temple football team to wins over Eastern Michigan (55-52) and Akron (27-6) to finish the season with a 5-7 overall record and 4-4 mark in the MAC. The five wins are the most for the Owls since 1990. Temple finished second in the Mid-American Conference East Division with a 4-4 record, matching its record from 2007.

At Navy, DiMichele opened play with a perfect six-for-six in passing, including a four-yard touchdown pass to TE Steve Maneri in the opening drive. DiMichele finished with a career-high 340 yards, completing 21-of-28 passes with three touchdowns for the game.

At Kent State, DiMichele went 17-of-29 for 282 yards. It marked his ninth 200-plus passing yardage game.

In the win over Eastern Michigan, DIMichele went 21-of-37 for 370 yards. His 370 yards were a new career-high and marked the fourth 300-plus passing game of his career, tying the school career record with Henry Burris (4, 2003-06). He also threw a school record six touchdowns. DiMichele passed for three TDs in each half. The last time he passed for three TDs in a half was in the come-from-behind win at Akron last year (10-13-07) with three passing scores in the fourth quarter.

In his final game for the Cherry & White, the team captain went 15-of-30 for 220 yards in the win over Akron. It marked the 11th 200-plus passing yardage game for DiMichele which ranks him third on Temple's career list for 200-yard passers. His two four-yard rushing touchdowns were a career-high for rushing TDs for the senior. They were the fourth and fifth rushing TDs of his career. DiMichele finished his career with 5,024 passing yards which rank fourth on Temple's all-time chart.

For the month of November, DiMichele went 74-of-124 for 1,212 and 12 touchdowns. He also rushed for three touchdowns in the last two games.
