Women's Tennis Tops Lehigh 7-0 for Second Win of the Weekend

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Temple women's tennis team made it back-to-back victories, as the Owls topped Lehigh 7-0 from Bethlehem on Sunday morning. It was the second victory in as many days for the women's tennis team, as it topped Binghamton 7-0 on Saturday.
The Owls (2-2) swept all six singles contests and all three doubles contests for the victory. Sophomore Elyse Steiner topped Allie Schwartz in #1 singles 6-2, 6-1 while junior Dina Senkina topped Julie Arthofer in #2 singles 6-1, 6-1. In #3 singles, freshmen Lucie Pazderova continued her fantastic start to the season, topping Alexis Jacobi 6-1, 6-1. Sophomore Christine Clermont, junior Anastasiia Rukavyshnykova and freshmen Theresa Stangl were also victorious in singles play.
The Owls are back in action on Friday when they travel to Norfolk to take on Richmond. Play is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m.
