WEST POINT, N.Y. - The women's tennis team improved their record to 6-2 on Friday with a win over Army. After dropping the first two matches of the season that brings the Owls' win streak to six. Temple swept all doubles matches and only lost one singles match on the way to a 6-1 victory.
Junior Dina Senkina has not lost in all six of Temple's wins, compiling a personal streak of twelve straight matches. Her last loss came on February 2, against neighbor Penn. Josephine Bergman got two wins to add to the one she captured last week, bringing her record to 3-0 since she came back from injury.
Temple looks to prolong their winning streak with another match slated today against Buffalo. The Bulls are 3-1 heading into the match. This should not phase the Owls, though, as the Black Knights were 7-2 heading into Friday's skirmish. Saturday's match will start at 4 p.m.
