Whitney Richards Selected A-10 Player Of The Week

PHILADELPHIA- After leading Temple to wins over St. Mary's (Calif.) and UC Davis, senior Whitney Richards was named the Atlantic 10 Player of the Week. Richards netted 11 goals on 14 shots and had an assist to earn her first honor of the season.
In the win over St. Mary's, Richards was a perfect five-for-five, scoring four of her five goals in the first half. The senior continued her offensive dominance two days later, when she had six goals and one assist in the victory over UC Davis. Five of her six tallies came in the first half to lead the Owls to an 8-6 halftime lead.
