Junior Amanda Cole qualified for the NCAA Regional Championship in the hammer throw with a school-record distance of 178-3 as the Temple women's track team competed at the unscored TCNJ Invitational on Saturday. She won the event by over 30 feet and also finished third in the shot put (38-10 1/2) and fifth in the discus (114-11). The New Castle, DE native also bettered her ECAC qualifying mark in the hammer throw as well.
