Women's Tennis Finishes Off Regular Season with a Win

PHILADELPHIA, PA - The women's tennis team came out on top in their final regular season matchup at the Temple Pavilion on Monday. The Owls defeated their Philadelphia rival Villanova, 7-0. Anastasiia Rukavyshnykova and Felicia Frazier both blanked their opponents in their matches to lead the Owls to a shutout victory.
Head coach Jill Breslin was pleased with how her team performed, "The team came out today and played with a lot of focus and intensity. We are very excited about the upcoming A-10 tournament and it showed in today's performance and team spirit."
The Owls will head to Monroeville, PA to take part in the Atlantic 10 Championships this weekend. The Owls received the second seed in the tournament thanks to their 13-4 record on the season. Temple will open play against Charlotte or George Washington on Friday at 3:30 p.m.
