Women's Tennis Falls Short Against Minutewomen

PHILADELPHIA, PA - The women's tennis team suffered their fourth loss of the season on Saturday. Massachusetts won the doubles point and got a crucial point from Christine Clermont being forced to retire due to injury. The 4-3 loss brings the Owls' overall record to 12-4, while the Minutewomen improve to 9-9.

Lucie Pazderova and Theresa Stangl were the only doubles pair to come away with a win for the Owls. Josephine Bergman, Dina Senkina and Anastasiia Rukavyshnykova were winners in singles action for the Owls. Unfortunately, the game-deciding match was unable to finish as Christine Clermont suffered an injury. She was losing 4-1 at the time.

The Owls regular season finale was postponed on Sunday. The match against George Washington is currently being rescheduled. When and date and time are set for the match they will appear on the website.
