Free Student Barbeque With Temple Football Set for April 17

PHILADELPHIA - The Temple University football team will host its Third Annual Student Barbeque on Thursday, April 17 from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at Edberg-Olson Hall (11th & Diamond Streets).
All Temple students are invited and will be admitted FREE with a school identification card. In addition to lots of food and fun while watching the Owls' final spring practice session, the first 1000 students will receive a Temple-UConn game-day t-shirt.
After practice, head coach Al Golden will speak, and all students will have the opportunity to mingle with the coaches and players.
Temple's spring drills conclude with the annual Cherry & White intra-squad scrimmage on Saturday, April 19, at 1:15 p.m. at the Ambler (Pa.) Sports Complex.
Temple opens the 2008 season at Army on Friday, August 29. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. before a national television audience on ESPNU or ESPN Classic. The Owls host Connecticut on Sept. 6 at Lincoln Financial Field in their home opener.
