PHILADELPHIA - Casey Dickson, who compiled a 55-68 record during her three seasons as the Temple head softball coach, resigned her position at the University.
"We are grateful for Casey's years of service at Temple and wish her well in the future," said Director of Athletics Bill Bradshaw. "A search for her successor will begin immediately."
Dickson led Temple to a 22-23 record in 2006, her first season at Temple, and placed fifth in the Atlantic 10 Conference. The following season the Owls posted an 18-21 record, finishing fourth in the league standings. This past season, Temple ended at 15-24, recording its fewest victories since 1983, and placed 11th in the conference with a 5-15 mark.
