What was your favorite class this summer?
"Freshman Seminar with Jaison Freeman, our academic coordinator. It was a relaxed class, and we talked about a lot of things we'll go through during the school year and how to handle everything. It really got me used to school, and it calmed me down. I was a little stressed out, and it took away a lot of the stress."
How is practice going for you?
"So far, so good. I'm learning the playbook and running all the plays. I'm playing right tackle right now."
What's been your biggest challenge adjusting to college life?
"Definitely time management. It's a big thing, juggling school and football. School so far hasn't been tough with just three classes, but once we get into (fall semester), it's going to be big juggling both."
Why did you choose Temple?
"It was a gut feeling at first. I saw the football program, and I saw that academic program. The two together were just on the rise. I saw everything good coming out of Temple, and all my instincts told me to come here."
What's your favorite thing about Temple football?
"Competitiveness and fighting for a job. I'm just playing my heart out. It's everything I expected from the coaches to practice. It's just fun. I love it,"
Who is your hero?
"Michael Jordan. I've seen everything that he's done and the games he's played in, scoring 40-plus points, playing with a 102-degre temperature. He had the flu. A lot of the things he's overcome and done in his lifetime, he's just a great player. He's really been inspirational to me."
What's one word to describe yourself?
"Hard-working"
What's your favorite reality show?
"Deadliest Catch."
Have you declared a major?
"Business."
What do you think it will be like to play in front of your hometown crowd?
"It's going to be incredible. It's definitely a big reason why I chose this school. I'm a Philadelphia Eagles fan. I'm excited to play in the stadium and having my parents and friends come watch our games. It'll be great."
