Temple Football Hosts Third Annual Fan Fest & Media Day

PHILADELPHIA - The Temple University football team hosted its third annual Fan Fest on Wednesday evening at Headhouse Plaza at Lincoln Financial Field following the team's media day activities on the field.
More than 3,000 fans attended the event which featured autograph and photo opportunities with the players and coaching staff as well as live music, Hooter the Owl, the cheerleaders, and the Diamond Gems Dance Team. Clowns, face painters, and a dunk tank also enhanced the day's activities.
Temple opens the 2008 season at Army on Friday, August 29. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. before a national television audience on ESPN Classic. In their home opener the Owls host Connecticut on Sept. 6 at Noon on ESPNU at Lincoln Financial Field.
