Conn Named Atlantic 10 Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week

PHILADELPHIA After leading the Temple women's soccer team to its first win of the 2008 season, freshman forward Niki Conn (Morton, Pa./Cardinal O'Hara) has been named the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week.

Conn netted two goals in the 3-0 victory against St. Peter's on Friday to give Temple its first win of the season. She then followed that up with the game-winning assist in a 2-1 win against Vermont on Sunday.

The Morton, Pa. native lead the Owls in scoring with four goals and one assist in six games.
