LORETTO, Pa. - Still stinging from its last second loss to Bucknell on Friday night, the Temple women's soccer team found itself once again unable to find the back of the net, as the visiting Owls fell to Saint Francis (Pa) 3-0 on Sunday afternoon.
Sophomore goalkeeper Lauren Fearer posted her first shut out of the season for Saint Francis (3-1-4) as the Cherry and White (2-5-1) offense failed to get anything going all afternoon.
Cori Gallager and Niki Conn each contributed two shots to lead the Owl offense. Goalkeeper Kara Williams had six saves.
Temple is in action again on Friday when it travels to Xavier for a 7 p.m. match.
