Final Stats

AMBLER, PA - Soggy field conditions hampered both teams' offensive attack, and sharp defensive play led to a 0-0 tie between the Owls and UMass on Sunday afternoon. Both teams had limited scoring chances, and opportune goalie play kept the score deadlocked.

Owls Keeper Courtney Douglas made two saves on the game. The biggest of all was a one-on-one battle with Minutewomen forward Cristina Adams, who snuck past the Owls defense early in the second half.

The Owls main offensive threat was Niki Conn, posting on shot on net.

The Cherry and White posted the only shot in overtime, tallying seven on the game. UMass totaled five, three by Christina Adams.

The Owls (3-2-3) will host city rival St. Joseph's next Sunday, October 5, at 1:00 p.m.
