Temple Lacrosse To Host 2008 Philly 5 Lacrosse Tournament

PHILADELPHIA-Temple University and Geasey Field will play host to the second annual Philly 5 Lacrosse Tournament and clinic on Saturday, October 4. Drexel, La Salle, Saint Joseph's and Villanova will all join the Owls in the tournament, kicking off at 8 a.m. when Temple takes on La Salle.
The tournament aims to bring Division I women's lacrosse schools in the Philadelphia area together for a day of competition and promotion of the sport in the city. The teams will also conduct a free clinic designed to introduce Philadelphia girls to lacrosse.
