Women's Lacrosse Picked To Finish Third In 2009 Atlantic 10 Race

PHILADELPHIA- After capturing the 2008 Atlantic 10 championship, the Temple women's lacrosse team was picked to finish third in the 2009 A-10 race in a poll conducted by the leagues head coaches.
Last season the Owls captured the Atlantic 10 regular season championship and a record setting fifth Tournament crown. Bonnie Rosen was named the Atlantic 10 Coach of the Year, guiding Temple to a 13-5 overall record, a 6-1 mark in the conference and the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2004. The 13 wins are the most since the 2003 season.
Richmond was picked to finish first and Massachusetts was tabbed second. Duquesne rounded out the top four.
The four-team 2009 A-10 Championship will be held April 24-26 at Temple's Geasey Field.
