Seven Temple Players Receive Midseason Honors from Phil Steele

Owls Host Army in Homecoming game on Oct. 17

CLEVELAND – Phil Steele released his midseason All-MAC Team on Friday, and seven Temple football players have been recognized.

The Owls' sole first-team honoree is senior nose tackle Andre Neblett (Rahway, N.J.).

Named midseason second-team All-MAC selections are freshman running back Bernard Pierce (Ardmore, Pa.), junior offensive guard Colin Madison (Villa Park, Ill.), senior offensive tackle Devin Tyler (Suitland, Md.), and sophomore defensive end Adrian Robinson (Harrisburg, Pa.).

Senior linebacker Alex Joseph (Stamford, Conn.) and junior safety Jaiquawn Jarrett (Brooklyn, N.Y.) have earned third-team recognition.

Riding a three-game winning streak, Temple (3-2, 3-0 MAC) hosts Army (3-3) in its annual Homecoming game. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. at Lincoln Financial Field.
