Owls post six shots in the rainy contest

Bronx, NY – The Temple women's soccer team (5-10-1, 1-7-0 in A-10) played a clean game Sunday afternoon, but was eventually shutout by Fordham 2-0. Owls' keeper Kara Williams made two saves on the day, while TU managed six shots on the day.

Fordham opened the scoring in the 14th minute, with Leah Loguidice knocking in a deflection. The Rams would score again right before half, when Michelle Ancelj crossed a ball to Brittany Hogan to put Fordham up 2-0.

The Owls had their opportunities, but could not capitalize on their chances. Junior Kelly Diviny, classmate Steph Kwiatkowski, and sophomore Allicia Yurkovic each posted a shot on goal.

The Cherry and White return to Ambler for their final two home games of the season next weekend, facing off with Charlotte on October 23rd (3:00 p.m.) and St. Louis on October 25th (12:00 p.m.).
