Temple Trio Fares Well in Women's Tennis ITA/Wilson Consolation Round

BLACKSBURG, Va. - The Temple trio of Anastasiia Rukavyshnykova, Lucie Pazderova and Theresa Stangl picked up three wins in the consolation round of the ITA/Wilson Women's Tennis Regional Championship, being held at Virginia Tech.
Rukavyshnykova picked up a tough 6-4, 6-4 decision over Mimi Hamling of George Washington. Lice Pazdervoa followed suit with a 6-1, 6-3 victory against Virginia Tech's Katie Blow. Theresa Stangl finished out the Owls singles play with a challenging 7-6(6), 6-4 win over Mia Drobnak of Radford.
The Temple women's tennis team's fall season is now complete. The Owls begin their traditional spring season on January 23, 2010 against Dartmouth in Hanover, N.H.
