Bridget Settles Earns A-10 Field Hockey Athlete of the Week Honors

Sophomore scored five goals for the Owls including a hat trick vs. Penn
PHILADELPHIA - Sophomore Bridget Settles has earned her first Atlantic 10 Athlete of the Week honor after leading the Temple field hockey team with five goals in two games last week.
Settles recorded her first career hat trick by scoring all three goals in the Owls' 3-0 win vs. Penn on Oct. 4, scoring on three of the four shots she took in the contest.
In a loss to Stanford on Oct. 2, Settles scored both of Temple's goals in the final two minutes of the game.
With seven goals so far this season, Settles leads the team and is tied for second among all players in the A-10.
