Lomuscio takes 24th in foil, Thompson 10th in sabre

Kansas City, MO – Two representatives of the Temple fencing team competed at the US Fencing North American Cup (NAC) Jr. Tournament in Kansas City, MO this past weekend. Sophomores Alyssa Lomuscio and Kamali Thompson competed in foil and sabre, respectively.

Eliminated in round 16 by eventual gold medalist Lian Osier, Thompson competed to a 10th place finish in sabre out of 88 fencers.   Lomuscio battled to a 24th place finish in the field of 122.  Both competitors earned points towards their national rankings with their results.

Up next for the Cherry and White is the Penn State Open on Saturday, November 21st.
