Allen averaged 18.5 points and 13.5 rebounds per game over two games last week. On Thursday in a nationally-televised game against then #9/9 Xavier, the Morrisville, Pa, native (Pennsbury HS) scored 14 points and grabbed a game-high 14 rebounds in an 83-74 defeat. The 6-9 forward, who made 17 of 27 shots from the field (62.9%) on the week, followed that with a career-high 23 points and game-high 13 rebounds in a 68-62 win over Rhode Island on Sunday. It marked his eighth double-double of the season. He also earned his first Big 5 Player of the Week honor.
