Christmas scored 29 points to lead the Owls to their second straight Atlantic 10 Championship on Saturday with a 69-64 win over Duquesne. He became the second player in league history to be named the tournament's Most Outstanding Player in consecutive seasons after averaging 18.7 ppg. in three games. The senior became the first Temple player to score at least 600 points in three straight seasons and set the program's all-time record for three-point field goals in a career (314). Christmas also became the fourth Owl to reach the 2,000-point plateau in Saturday's victory.
