Rukavyshnykova Named Owlsports.com Athlete Of The Month For March

PHILADELPHIA - Junior Anastasiia Rukavyshnykova, who was a perfect 8-0 in singles, has been named the Owlsports.com Athlete of the Month for March. The Kiev, Ukraine native also was 7-1 in doubles while paired with classmate Christine Clermont.
Rukavyshnykova won six of her eight singles matches in straight sets and was 7-0 at #4 singles and 1-0 at #3. She helped the Temple women's tennis team (13-5 overall) to a 7-2 record in the month.
In doubles, Rukavyshnykova and Clermont were 6-1 at #2 doubles and 1-0 at #3.
She is 22-4 this season in singles, including an 11-3 record this spring. She has won her last 10 matches.
The defending Atlantic 10 champions host Binghamton on Saturday at 1 PM at the Temple Pavilion.
