Temple Cheerleaders to Visit City Locations This Week

Owls Kick Off 2009 Season on Thursday with Villanova
PHILADELPHIA - The Temple University cheerleaders will be visiting several prominent center city locations this week to promote Thursday's gridiron clash between Temple and Villanova.
Tuesday, September 1: 1 PM - 2 PM
Reading Terminal Market (12 and Arch Streets)
***Temple cheerleaders on site meeting and greeting customers
Wednesday, September 2: 12:15 PM - 1 PM
Shops at Liberty Place (16th and Chestnut Streets)
*** Temple cheerleaders will stunt and dance for the crowd.
Wednesday, September 2: 1:15 PM - 2 PM
Love Park (16th and JFK Blvd.)
*** Temple spirit squad members to take part in Love Park Summer Concert Series: JO-ET-TICS Fitness Line Dance Program.
Thursday, September 3: Noon
Qdoba Mexican Grill (Broad Street & Cecil B. Moore Avenue)
***Burrito eating contest between Temple cheerleaders!
Spirit squad members will also distribute discount ticket vouchers to the game at each location.
Temple opens the 2009 season on Thursday, Sept. 3 with Villanova at 7 p.m. in the inaugural Mayor's Cup at Lincoln Financial Field.
