Golden to Appear on Good Day Live; Throw Out First Pitch for Phillies

Temple & Villanova to Kick Off on Sept. 3

PHILADELPHIA - Temple football head coach Al Golden has a busy day slated for Wednesday, August 19.

At 7:45 a.m. he and Villanova coach Andy Talley will appear together on Fox 29's "Good Day Live" to promote the season opener between the two schools in the inaugural Mayor's Cup on Thursday, Sept. 3 at 7 p.m. at Lincoln Financial Field.

The coaches then head to Mayor Michael Nutter's office for a press conference at 8:30 a.m. The Mayor's Cup trophy will be unveiled.

In the evening, Golden will throw out the first pitch at the Phillies' game against Arizona at Citizens Bank Park.
