Madison, Pierce & Wilkerson Named to First Team
CLEVELAND – Phil Steele has honored 15 Temple football players as members of his annual All-Mid-American Conference teams.
Named to the All-MAC first team were senior OL Colin Madison (Villa Park, Ill.), sophomore RB Bernard Pierce (Ardmore, Pa.), and junior DT Muhammad Wilkerson (Linden, N.J.).
Earning second team recognition were senior LB Elijah “Peanut” Joseph (Hartford, Conn.), r-senior OL Darius Morris (Long Branch, N.J.), junior DE Adrian Robinson (Harrisburg, Pa.), and r-junior TE Evan Rodriguez (North Bergen, N.J.).
Third team All-MAC honorees included sophomore RB Matt Brown (Baltimore, Md.), senior WR Michael Campbell (Edison, N.J.), senior DB Jaiquawn Jarrett (Brooklyn, N.Y.), and junior KOR James Nixon (New Haven, Conn.).
On the fourth team were senior PR Delano Green (Fredericksburg, Va.), junior DB Kee-ayre Griffin (East Orange, N.J.), senior NT Elisha Joseph (Hartford, Conn.), and sophomore PK Brandon McManus (Hatfield, Pa.).
Temple finished the regular season at 8-4 overall and 5-3 in the MAC's East Division. The Owls now await a bowl bid which will be announced on Dec. 5.
