2010 Spring Practice Calendar & Policies
PHILADELPHIA – The Temple University football team opens spring practice on Saturday, March 20 on Chodoff Field at Edberg-Olson Hall.
The 15 practice sessions over 33 consecutive calendar days will utilize a Tuesday-Thursday-Saturday schedule, running from 9 a.m. to Noon.
Temple's spring drills include the annual Cherry & White intra-squad scrimmage on Saturday, April 17.
Under the guidance of fifth-year head coach Al Golden, this season's squad returns 17 starters, including nine on offense.
All practices are open only to Temple football alumni, current high school prospects, and approved high school coaches, provided the individuals register in Edberg-Olson Hall before visiting the field. Practices are closed to the general public.
Temple will open the 2010 season with Villanova in the second annual Mayor's Cup Labor Day weekend (date TBA) at Lincoln Financial Field.
Temple football season tickets are on sale now for as low as $90, and can be purchased by calling the Temple Ticket Office at 215-204-8499. Fans are encouraged to visit www.OwlsTix com for full season ticket pricing information.
