PHILADELPHIA -
Temple Men's Soccer (7-7-0, 3-2-0) gets back on the road where it looks to steal a win in the Steel City and keep its Atlantic 10 Tournament appearance hopes a reality when it takes on the Duquesne Dukes (5-7-2, 2-2-1) on Friday night at 7:00 p.m. The Dukes currently stand undefeated at Rooney Field. When the Owls depart from Pittsburgh, they'll travel north before the weekend wraps up for their showdown with the St. Bonaventure Bonnies (4-8-3, 0-3-2) in Olean, N.Y. on Sunday afternoon at 1:00 p.m.

Temple is coming off a 1-1 weekend, where it beat a tough Xavier team at the Ambler Sports Complex, before losing on a heartbreaking goal in the 86th to endure a loss against Dayton, which currently has the Owls seated in a three-way tie for sixth place in the At-10 standings.

Junior Cody Calafiore is Temple's leading scorer with 12 points (five goals, two assists), while senior Tyler Witmer is right behind him with four goals and 11 points on the year. Calafiore looks too continue his strong A-10 Conference play this weekend. Through five league matches, he leads the team with six points (two goals, two assists).

The Dukes are coming off a two-win weekend, in which they beat Massachusetts last Friday before knocking off Rhode Island on Sunday to improve their home record to 5-0-2. Junior forward Joshua Patterson comes into Friday's match as the reigning A-10 Player of the Week after scoring four goals and dishing out an assist in the Dukes' two victories last weekend.

The all-time series between Temple and Duquesne is at a 7-7-2 deadlock. In the last meeting, Duquesne won a close, 1-0 contest back in 2009. Temple's last victory against Duquesne was a 2-0 win at home back in 2008.

St. Bonaventure is still looking for an A-10 Conference win. This past weekend the Bonnies dropped a contest to Rhode Island on Friday prior to playing to a draw with Massachusetts on Sunday.

Temple leads the head-to-head series against St. Bonaventure 13-7-0. The two teams did not compete last year, but in 2009 at the Ambler Sports Complex, the Owls took a 1-0 win out of the Bonnies. St. Bonaventure hasn't beat Temple since 2006 when it won, 3-2 in Olean, N.Y.
