Sophomore comes up short in consolation round
HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. – Sophomore Li Tang was the lone Temple men's tennis player still competing at the Hofstra Fall Invitational on Sunday, October 9. The event was held at the Hofstra Tennis Center on Friday-Sunday, October 7-9, 2011.
Tang squared off against NJIT's Holger Norregard in the semifinal round of the consolation bracket. Norregard defeated the Owl's first-year player, 6-1, 6-1, to knock the final TU player out of play.
The Temple men's tennis team concludes fall play at the ITA Regional championship October 20-23.
