Game Notes

PHILADELPHIA
- Traveling to Dayton on Saturday, #24/rv Temple will face a tough road test against the Flyers at UD Arena (1:00 p.m./ESPNU/1210 AM WPHT).  The Owls are riding a conference-best five game win streak and have won two straight games away from their home building.

Temple, under the direction of fifth-year head coach Fran Dunpy, improved to 18-5 overall, 8-2 in Atlantic 10 play with its 77-66 win over Fordham on Wednesday.

Junior Ramone Moore (14.5 ppg.) continues to pace a balanced offensive attack that includes three double-figure scorers. Junior Scootie Randall (11.4 ppg.), the reigning A-10 and Big 5 Player of the Week, has been on fire of late, averaging 18.7 ppg. over the team's last six outings.

Senior Lavoy Allen (10.7 ppg.) joins the pair as double-digit scorers and leads the team in rebounding (7.1 rpg.). Allen, who left Wednesday's game with a sprained left ankle, pulled down a season-best 14 rebounds in the contest. His status is day-to-day.

Junior Juan Fernandez (9.7 ppg.) has made three straight starts after being sidelined with a bruised left knee and leads the team in assists (3.7 apg.). Sophomore Khalif Wyatt (9.1 ppg.) took advantage of increased playing time due to Fernandez's injury, and has averaged 13.7 points over the last 10 games.

Dayton, under the direction of eighth-year head coach Brian Gregory, suffered a loss at Rhode Island on Wednesday night to fall to 17-8 overall, 5-5 in league play. Leading scorer and rebounder senior Chris Wright (13.5 ppg., 8.5 rpg.) was held to just nine points and four boards in the contest. Junior Chris Johnson (12.0 ppg.) also scores in double figures for the Flyers while freshman point guard Juwan Staten, a four-time A-10 Rookie of the Week, leads the conference in assists (8.3 ppg., 6.3 apg.)

The Owls lead the all-time series owning a 15-11 record against the Flyers.
