Addazio Completes Defensive Staff

PHILADELPHIA – Sean Cronin, who has played on or coached for four national championship teams, has been named the defensive line coach at Temple University, head football coach Steve Addazio announced on Monday.

“Sean was a coach with us at the University of Florida for three years,” Addazio said. “He worked with two of our National Championship teams. He did a great job of mentoring our defensive linemen there. He's very knowledgeable on defensive line play and understands what we want to accomplish here at Temple. Sean has great passion and energy for the game. It's a great hire for us to complete our defensive staff. We are happy to welcome Sean, his wife Emily, and daughter Grace to the Temple football family.”

“I'm thrilled to be at Temple with a number of people I've worked with before,” Cronin said. “I'm really excited for the opportunity to work with them again. I know what they're about, and I'm excited to be a part of it.”
