Temple Football Players Announced For Saturday’s Shore Tour

PHILADELPHIA –First-year Temple head coach Steve Addazio and his 2011 Temple Owls will take the Jersey Shore by storm on Saturday, July 30.
The team heads to the famous Ocean City Music Pier (9th & Boardwalk) for the ever-popular Temple Football FanFest. From 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., visitors and friends can meet and get autographs from members of the 2011 Temple football team. Hooter the Owl, Temple cheerleaders, and the Diamond Gems dance team will also be on hand. This event is FREE to the public.
Players expected to attend are: WR Ryan Alderman, OL Pat Boyle, OL Sean Boyle, DB Vaughn Carraway, WR Daquan Cooper, DE Kadeem Custis, LB Matt Falcone, QB Clinton Granger, DB Kee-ayre Griffin, LB Stephen Johnson, DB Kevin Kroboth, P/PK Tyler Mayes, PK Brandon McManus, DB Deonte Parker, DL Shahid Paulhill, RB Bernard Pierce, WR Brett Pierce, DB Anthony Robey, TE Evan Rodriguez, WR Darryl Shine, QB Chester Stewart, WR Rod Streater, OL Wayne Tribue, OL Hershey Walton, LB Quinten White, LB Tahir Whitehead, and DL Jeff Whittingham.
Temple returns 46 lettermen, including 13 starters. The Owls open the 2011 season with cross-city rival Villanova in the third annual Mayor's Cup, sponsored by Dunkin' Donuts, at Lincoln Financial Field on Thursday, Sept. 1. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
Temple also hosts Penn State on Sept. 17 at Noon at Lincoln Financial Field. Season tickets for Temple Football are available now for as low as $20 per game by calling the Temple Ticket Sales Office at 215-204-8499 or visit www.OwlsTix.com. Individual game tickets are on sale now through Ticketmaster.
