Box Score
NIAGARA UNIVERSITY, N.Y. –
Battling into double-overtime, the Niagara Purple Eagles stole the game from the Temple Owls in the 101st minute when sophomore Breanna Catipovic broke the scoreless tie to hand the Temple women's soccer team a 1-0 loss.

Playing without injured senior Niki Conn— the team's leading scorer— the Owls outshot the Purple Eagles 15-12 for the game. Temple exposed most of its offensive pressure in the first half, having nine shots in the opening 45 minutes. Junior Kate Yurkovic finished the game with a team-high five shots on the afternoon.

Senior goalkeeper Gillian Kacsuta played all 101 minutes and made three saves in her first start in goal of the season.

Temple, now 2-4-0 on the year, heads to Rider on Friday, Sept. 16 for a 7:00 p.m.  match with the Broncs in Lawrenceville, N.J.
