Five Members of Temple Lacrosse Earn IWLCA Academic Honor Roll Status

PHILADELPHIA - The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) honored 187 student-athletes from 65 different institutions with inclusion in the 2011 Academic Honor Roll. Five student-athletes on the 2011 Temple lacrosse team earned the distinction.
All student-athletes were nominated by their schools and have achieved at least junior status academically. Among the Owls to receive honor roll status was graduated senior Ann Stouffer, a two-time Atlantic 10 All-Academic honoree.
All five honorees were named to this year's President's Honor Roll at Temple's annual Breakfast of Champions, and one, now-senior Missy Schweitzer, was named to the Trustee Ten for having one of the top 10 GPA's among all Temple student-athletes. Schweitzer was also named to the Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area Team this past spring.

Allison McWilliams, Junior, Secondary Education / English Education
