Box Score (PDF)
DAYTON, Ohio - The defending Atlantic 10 champ Dayton Flyers turned on the offense early and even a strong defensive effort by the Temple volleyball team was not enough, as the Owls (4-11, 0-2) lost in three sets by scores of 25-16, 25-18 and 25-14 to the Flyers (9-5, 2-0).
Temple will return home next weekend to play host to Rhode Island and Fordham, starting with a 7:00 p.m. contest on Friday against URI when the Owls host "80's Night" in McGonigle Hall.
