Men's Tennis Finishes Play at USTA/ITA Atlantic Region Championship

Rams and Marquart Still Active for Owls
Singles Main Draw | Doubles Main Draw
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Senior Kacper Rams was still active in singles play at the USTA/ITA Atlantic Regional on Saturday. He and sophomore Kristian Marquart also teamed up for doubles action in the main draw at the event, being held at the University of Virginia on October 18-22.
Rams, who had received a bye in the first round of singles play, faced Dan Elston of Longwood in the round of 64. Elston took the win by injury default and Rams' run at a title was ended before he even had a chance to finish a match.
Rams and Marquart then teamed up to play in the doubles draw round of 32, squaring off against Hunter Koontz and Trpimir Kujundzic of Virginia Tech. The Hokies' duo got the best of the Owls, defeating the pair 8-4.
Temple's fall play is now complete. The team will open the 2013 spring season with play at the VCU 4+1 Invite on January 25-27.
