Booth & Brown Earn Honorable Mention Honors

PHILADELPHIA – Two Temple football players earned national honors by the College Football Performance Awards on Sunday.
Junior TE Cody Booth (Millersville, Pa.) was named the national Honorable Mention Tight End of the Week, while senior RB Matt Brown (Baltimore, Md.) was named the national Honorable Mention All-Purpose Performer of the Week.
At Pittsburgh on Saturday, Booth's nine-yard touchdown reception in the first quarter was his third career touchdown and his third TD this season. He finished the game with a career-high three receptions for 21 yards.
The honor from CFP is Booth's second this season. He also earned the honor on Oct. 7.
Against Pitt, Brown had three kickoff returns for 120 yards, including a season-long 77-yard return, as well as a six-yard punt return.

Temple (3-4, 2-2 BIG EAST) travels to No. 12/10 Louisville (8-0, 3-0 BIG EAST) on Nov. 3 for a Noon game at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium. ABC (shown locally on 6ABC) will televise the game regionally.
