Hurricane Sandy Clothing/Supply Drive Set for Saturday’s Football Game

NOTE (11/9/12): The American Red Cross is only accepting cash donations at this time. Therefore, all items collected prior to the football game will be donated to Hurricane Sandy victims through the Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission instead.
PHILADELPHIA – Temple Athletics will hold a clothing and supply drive to benefit the victims of Hurricane Sandy on Nov. 10.
Prior to Saturday's football game at Lincoln Financial Field, Temple Athletics will collect gently used clothing, including gently used winter jackets, as well as blankets, diapers (all sizes), and toiletries. No food items will be collected at this time.
All items collected will be donated to the Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission to help victims of Hurricane Sandy.
Drop off boxes will be located outside the North East Gate, the Comcast Gate, and the Box Office.
Temple (3-5, 2-3 BIG EAST) hosts Cincinnati (6-2, 2-1 BIG EAST) on Nov. 10 at Noon at Lincoln Financial Field. The BIG EAST Network, as well as ESPN3.com, will televise the game.
