100 Children Meet Temple Football Players

PHILADELPHIA – Temple Athletics, Dunkin' Donuts, and the Police Athletic League of Philadelphia recognized outstanding young boys and girls last night.
The children took part in the Dunkin' Donuts Rockin' Reading Program. As part of this after-school program, Dunkin' Donuts donated books to local PAL centers.
During last night's Temple's men's basketball game, the 100 participants who fulfilled the requirements of the program were recognized. Prior to the game, the participants enjoyed a reception with members of the Temple football team (see photo gallery).
Returning 35 letterwinners, including nine starters, Temple football team opens spring practice on March 12.
