PHILADELPHIA -- Just a few moments ago, the Temple Owls found out they'd be dancing for fifth year in a row.
Temple, who finished the season at 24-7, earned a five-seed in the Midwest region of the NCAA bracket. They know they'll be playing on Friday (Time TBD).
What they don't know, however, is who they'll be matched up against quite yet. The Owls will face the winner of a 12-seed play-in game between Cal (24-9) and South Florida (20-13).
Noticeably absent for the announcement was Owls head coach Fran Dunphy, who told the media after the announcement that he was too nervous to watch. Instead, he lingered outside the lobby of the Fox-Gittis Room in the Liacouras Center until his team's name was called.
Also in attendance to show his support for Temple was former Owl Lavoy Allen, fresh off the train from a 106-94 Sixers win against the Knicks at Madison Square Garden.

Temple and the winner of Cal/South Florida will tipoff on TNT at approximately 9:40 P.M., following the conclusion of the Michigan vs. Cal game (scheduled for 7:20 P.M.).
