Temple One of 120 Schools Competing for Commercial Shoot

PHILADELPHIA – VOTE FOR TEMPLE!
As the Temple Owls return to BIG EAST Conference action in football this fall, ESPN has included TU among its more than 120 schools competing for the 2012 “Bring GameDay to Your Campus” commercial shoot.
Voting begins on Monday, April 23 at Noon through Wednesday, May 12 at Noon.
The winning school will host ESPN College GameDay on its campus this summer to shoot a national commercial. The voting is open to all FBS schools across the country, and the rules are simple -- the school with the most votes wins. The ad, which will include students from the selected school, will run on all ESPN networks in the fall.
Fans can vote at the following sites GameDayVote.com, m.GameDayVote.com on mobile devices, as well as on the Facebook page facebook.com/collegegameday
Fans are allowed one vote per day.
Temple opens the 2012 season with Villanova in the fourth annual Mayor's Cup, sponsored by Dunkin' Donuts, on Friday, August 31 at Lincoln Financial Field.
Temple football season tickets are on sale now for as low as $99 and can be purchased by calling the Temple Ticket Sales Office at 215-204-8499 or visit www.OwlsTix.com.
