Eight Owls Earn All-Philly Women's Lacrosse Honors

PHILADELPHIA - Eight members of the 2012 Temple lacrosse team have been named to All-Philly Women's Lacrosse Teams as selected by PhillyCollegeSports.com. The highest honor went to senior Stephanie Markunas who was named to the All-Philly First Team.
Three Temple players earned All-Philly Second Team honors- Stephany Parcell and Charlotte Swavola on offense along with Lauren Caminiti on defense. All-Philly Third Team honors went to goalkeeper Tess Bishop, midfielders Karly Cohen and Missy Schweitzer, and attacker Jaymie Tabor.
Markunas finished the season with 30 goals and 25 assists for a team-best 55 total points. Her 25 assists tie for ninth all-time in a single season at Temple, while her 47 draw controls rank sixth all-time in a single season.
