Seven seniors to be honored before doubleheader begins
PHILADELPHIA – The Temple softball team, with a 25-20 overall record and a 10-6 mark in Atlantic 10 play, has locked up a playoff berth at the upcoming A-10 championship in Saint Louis, but the Owls still have one more conference doubleheader to play before that. The Cherry and White play host to St. Bonaventure in a Sunday doubleheader beginning at noon.
The games will also be TU's Senior Day, where seven seniors will be honored before the game for their contributions to Temple softball. Capri Catalano, Rachel Knable, Meaghan Marley, Alysse Pujol, Melissa Robbins, Samantha Schoell and Christina Sykora will each be donning the home uniform for the final time at Ambler Field.
TU enters the games winners in nine of its last 13 games, and most recently split with league foe Saint Louis last weekend. The 25 wins this season are the most for a Temple squad since the team reached 30 victories in the 2004 season.
