PHILADELPHIA –The 2012 Temple Owls will take the Jersey Shore by storm on Sunday, July 8.
The football team heads to the famous Ocean City Music Pier (9th & Boardwalk) for the ever-popular Temple Football FanFest. From 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., visitors and friends can meet and get autographs from members of the BIG EAST-bound 2012 Temple football team. Hooter the Owl, Temple cheerleaders, and the Diamond Gems dance team will also be on hand. This event is FREE to the public.
Under the guidance of second-year head coach Steve Addazio, Temple opens the 2012 season with Villanova in the fourth annual Mayor's Cup, sponsored by Dunkin' Donuts, on Friday, August 31 at Lincoln Financial Field at 7 p.m. on ESPN3. The Owls return 35 lettermen, including nine starters.
