College Sports Madness Honors Five Owls with Preseason All-BIG EAST Honors

Matt Brown Earns Honors at RB & KR
PHILADELPHIA – College Sports Madness has five Temple football players as members of its 2012 preseason All-BIG EAST Conference teams.
Junior DT Levi Brown (Bethlehem, Pa.) is the only Owl named to the All-BIG EAST first team.
All-BIG EAST second team honorees are seniors RB Matt Brown (Baltimore, Md.) and S Justin Gildea (Hollidaysburg, Pa.).
Earning third-team recognition are seniors OL Martin Wallace (New York, N.Y.), PK Brandon McManus (Hatfield, Pa.), and Brown at kick returner.

Under the guidance of second-year head coach Steve Addazio, this season's squad returns 35 lettermen, including nine starters.
Temple opens the 2012 season with Villanova in the fourth annual Mayor's Cup, sponsored by Dunkin' Donuts, on Friday, August 31 at Lincoln Financial Field.
