Students, Fans and Alumni To Participate In College Colors Day This Friday

PHILADELPHIA – On Friday, August 31, Temple University will once again join 200 other universities in taking part in the latest holiday sweeping the nation—College Colors Day.
Students, fans and alumni are asked to wear their favorite team colors-- Cherry & White-- to Friday's season opening football game between Temple and Villanova in the fourth annual Mayor's Cup game at 7 p.m. at Lincoln Financial Field.
Sometimes holidays can be a bit complex to celebrate. There might be travel involved, gifts to purchase, and tough decisions to make on which outfit to wear. - Corporate Tailgate Sweepstakes– Companies that register online at collegecolorsday.com to participate will be automatically registered for a chance to win a $500 gift card towards an office tailgate party.
- Classroom Sweepstakes–Teachers who register their classroom or school to participate in College Colors Day will be automatically entered to win a $500 gift card. Two $250 American Express gift cards will be given to the runners-up in the drawing.
- Fan Photo Contest on Facebook– College fans who submit a photo to facebook.com/collegecolorsday will be entered to win weekly American Express gift cards. Grand prize winners will also be selected.
