Football Hosts Army for Annual Homecoming Game

Temple returns home to host Army in its annual Homecoming game on October 19. Kickoff is set for 1:00pm at Lincoln Financial Field. The Owls will also celebrate Military Appreciation Day.
ESPN3?will televise the game with John Sadak calling the action and Al Groh providing color commentary. The Owls' radio broadcast will air on 1210 AM WPHT with Harry Donahue calling the play-by-play and Paul Palmer providing color analysis. Temple's student station WHIP will also broadcast the game online with Zach Gelb on play-by-play and Ross DiMattei on color commentary.
Last week Temple lost at Cincinnati, 38-20. However, in front of a prime time national TV audience, true freshman QB P.J. Walker made his starting debut and threw 2 TDs and 200 yards on 12-22 passing. He also moved the chains with 62 yards on 9 carries.
