Lacrosse Will Host 7th Annual Philly 5 Tournament and Alumnae Challenge on Sunday, October 27

PHILADELPHIA - The seventh annual Philly 5 Lacrosse Tournament returns to Temple on Sunday, Oct. 27 at Geasey Field, and for a second year in a row, there will also be a Philly 5 Alumnae Challenge. The annual tournament will feature the Owls, past and present, along with current teams and former players from Drexel, La Salle, Saint Joseph's and Villanova in fall exhibition play.
This tournament features the top lacrosse talent in the area and is now also an event in which Philadelphia collegiate lacrosse alums can compete against each other. Fans will be able to witness the top local rivalries in action at this highly-anticipated annual event.
The Philly 5 Tournament aims to bring Division I women's lacrosse schools in the Philadelphia area together for a day of competition and promotion of the sport in the city. The five college teams will play from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., followed by games between the alums of the participating schools.
T-shirts will be on sale at the tournament for $20.

8:00 - 8:35 a.m. - La Salle vs. Drexel
8:45 - 9:20 a.m. - Temple vs. Saint Joseph's
9:30 - 10:05 a.m. - Villanova vs. La Salle
10:15 - 10:50 a.m. - Drexel vs. Temple
11:00 - 11:35 a.m. - Saint Joseph's vs. Villanova
11:45 - 12:20 p.m. - Temple vs. La Salle
12:30 - 1:05 p.m. - Saint Joseph's vs. Drexel
1:15 - 1:50 p.m. - Villanova vs. Temple
2:00 - 2:35 p.m. - La Salle vs. Saint Joseph's
2:45 - 3:20 p.m. - Drexel vs. Villanova
Alumnae Tournament
Teams from Drexel, La Salle, Villanova and Temple will compete from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
