PHILADELPHIA - The final game of the 2013 calendar year takes Temple men's basketball to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., where the Owls (4-5) will face LIU Brooklyn (4-6) as part of the Brooklyn Hoops Holiday Invitational. The game is set for 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 21, and will not be televised, but fans can watch a live stream for $9.95 through the above link.
• Temple and LIU-Brooklyn are meeting for the fourth time, but the last meeting was 43 years ago.
• The Owls have won all three meetings, all of which occurred on Temple's home court.
• Temple is coming off back-to-back one-point losses after previously winning three straight games.
• The offense is clicking for Temple, as the Owls have scored 80 or more points in four of the last five games.
• Quenton DeCosey scored a career-high 19 points vs. Texas Southern, and hit 8-of-9 FG's including 2-of-2 three-pointers.

• LIU Brooklyn is coming off back-to-back wins at NJIT and vs. Lamar, both by margins of three points.
• Five players average in double figures in a very balanced offense for the Blackbirds, with three players averaging between 12.0 and 12.2 ppg.
• LIU Brooklyn was edged by just a point at #23 Indiana on Nov. 12, losing 73-72 in front of a crowd of over 17,000.
